Terms

Last updated August 2026.

Who you are contracting with

HL Media is the trading name of Harriet Lightfoot, a sole trader based in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Booking a package means agreeing to the terms below and to the package details set out on the packages page.

What you get

The clips, hours on site and revision rounds listed against the package you book. Every clip is delivered at a maximum of one minute in vertical 9:16, captioned and free of watermarks.

Two rounds of revisions are included. Send your notes in one go. Further rounds are charged at the rate on the packages page.

What you do not get

Raw or unedited footage, clips beyond your package count, re-edits requested more than thirty days after delivery, or posting and account management. Several of those are available separately - just ask.

Booking, payment and cancellation

Dates are held once agreed in writing. Invoices are due within fourteen days of delivery unless we have agreed otherwise.

If you need to move a filming day, tell us as early as you can and we will do our best to accommodate it. Bad weather is usually not a reason to cancel - it often films better than bright sun.

Footage, ownership and use

You may use the delivered clips freely across your own channels, in perpetuity. We retain copyright in the footage and the right to show the work in our own portfolio and social channels unless you ask us in writing not to.

Raw footage is held for three months and then deleted.

On the day

The clock starts at the agreed time, not when the last horse is caught. Horse welfare always outranks the shot: if an animal is unsettled, we stop.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Beyond that, our liability for any booking is limited to the fee paid for it.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
